In an Interview to a leading Tamil Channel, When asked who according to him is the BEST Indian Captain. Ashwin Without any hesitation said Sourav Ganguly. He went on to say he grew up watching Dada lead Team India and most importantly said Dada took over when Indian cricket was in a turmoil and he groomed youngsters which paved way for Team's Success. We didn't win much untill Dada took over added Ash.
