The Bengal Global Business Summit, 2016 was inaugurated on the 8th of Jan at "Milan Mela", Kolkata. Glorifying the occasion were His Excellency, the Prime Minister of Bhutan, Mr Tshering Tobgay, Rt Hon Priti Patel, Minister for Employment in UK, Mr Norbu Wangchuk, Hon'ble Minister for Economic Affairs, Bhutan, Mr Tofail Ahmed, Hon'ble Minister of Commerce, Bangladesh, Hon'ble Central Ministers Mr Arun Jaitley, Mr Nitin Gadkari, Mr Suresh Prabhu, Mr Piyush Goyal, and Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr Arvind Kejriwal. Gracing the occasion were also Mr Mukesh Ambani, Dr Subhas Chandra, Mr Niranjan Hiranandani, Mr Sajjan Jindal, Mr Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Mr Mohandas Pai, Mr Y C Deveshwar, Mr Sanjiv Goenka, Mr Harshvardhan Neotia along with captains of industry from the country and abroad. Respected Ambassadors and delegates from 25 countries, chambers of commerce and industry including the three apex bodies-CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, Sourav Ganguly and a galaxy of celebrated personalities from the world of business, commerce, governance and other key sectors were present.
