Sourav presented a blue print during the bengal-railways QF match at eden. He said a pool of 20-25 players, each of batsmen, pacers and spinners, both from senior as well as junior levels should be made. and each pool should be coached by a international cricketer.

Few days earlier Sourav said Muralitharan has been contacted as the spin coach. Primary talks with him are done and now Sourav himself has been asked to do the job of batting coach.

Though there hasn't been any official statement made by the CAB. Dalmiya told, "Will comment reg this only tomorrow or the day after". But sources close to Sourav say that he will join as the batting coach from March.
