In his first major move as Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) President Sourav Ganguly has unveiled IDBI Federal Life Insurance as Bengal cricket’s title sponsor for the next two years. The Mumbai-based insurance company has paid Rs 1 crore, to garner jersey visibility, major mentions in CAB’s flagship Vision 20-20 programme and also stadium branding, during Bengal Ranji Trophy matches. First there will be an interaction with students of NSHM Knowledge Campus. In the afternoon, he will be meeting the Atletico de Kolkata players and then, in the evening, he will walk down the memory lane at Eden Gardens, where his team New York Cosmos played a 2-2 draw in the exhibition match against Mohun Bagan. Pele will also reunite with the Mohun Bagan 'Class of 77' who will be felicitated at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in the 'Legend's Nite' where he will also interact with Sourav Ganguly. A.R.
