Sourav Ganguly Most Likely to Sign Contract with Channel 9

Within three years of making his debut as a commentator, Sourav gets an offer from Channel 9. On behalf of Channel 9, Shane Warne gave him this offer. Sourav said if the offer is feasible for him, he is ready to accept. Talks regarding the agreement will be held within few weeks. If both the parties come to a mutual agreement, then Sourav will be commentating the whole India-Australia series starting in December, on channel 9.

Warne had joined channel 9 few months ago. But he has already made a mark among the new generations of commentators in channel 9. The traditional era of commentary that comprised of Bill Lawry, Richie Bennaud and Ian Chappell is on the verge of coming to an end. New generation comprising of Michael Slater, Glenn Mcgrath along with Warne himself. Warne is reportedly very close to the new ownership team of Channel9. He offered Sourav in Dhaka itself while commentating.

On contacting Sourav, he said, there is a strong chance for him to accept the Channel 9 offer. But it will take time for the agreement to be finalized. He said, he will be commentating on Sky Sports as well on India’s England tour. Dada has already signed the aggrement with Sky Sports.

When Raina & Yuvi Approached Dada in a Swimming Pool in Dhaka

The guy while having tea besides Dhaka's team hotel's swimming pool, nicknamed 'Maharaj'  was surrounded by local people for autographs and taking snaps a while ago.

Yuvraj Singh is Sourav Ganguly's another station's name afterall. When he was the captain, Yuvraj flourished under him only. There was a time when many including  Uttaranchal's selectors voted against the Punjab lad, Yuvraj. They used to say, he's very careless, doesn't abide by rules, no dedication towards cricket, plays a couple of matches and then goes for parties. He can't be taken and captain Sourav went against the entire selection committee and said, i don't know anything, i want yuvraj singh otherwise, here u go, i'm leaving this meeting and won't sign on ur papers. That fav yuvi was having a tough time. Has not been getting runs in Tests and One-Days. Got chucked out of both formats and was already having feeble chances with T20 format too that would also have extinguished forever, if he did not get runs against Australia on Sunday.

Having seen Yuvi among runs finally made ecstatic Dada to reach out to Yuvi near the swimming pool, where he was clad in a towel it was nostalgic to see the two exchange words and tapping each other's backs in admiration

Another lad was just about to dive into the pool.Upon seeing Dada, Suresh Raina rushed to him to discuss about batting.literally, took the 'strike' away from Yuvi. After not getting selected in Asia Cup, Raina had consulted Dada over the phone. He said that he will meet Dada in Kolkata after the T20 world cup to do a special class with him. But, even during the world cup, whenever he's getting a chance, he's discussing with Dada.

Now Over to DADA,

How did you like Yuvraj's batting?

Loved it, planned his innings well, started off slowly and slogged so well in the end.

At one point, captain Sourav had to face criticisms like, pick Sourav and get Yuvraj free.Such was Sourav's support for Yuvi, that even if he didn't score for 2-3 consecutive matches, he wouldn't be dropped.

What was it about Yuvi, that Sourav had such faith on him?

I always felt, Yuvi has special talent,he was a match winner.he has the ability to turn any match around and win it by himself and he has done so in several occasions.he further said, yuvi and dhoni are very strong match-winners in the middle order, once these two set together in, indian batting would flourish
